(SALT LAKE CITY)-Arizona lawmakers will be in Utah for the Thursday session of the state Legislature to discuss the implications of SB1070 and share their experiences in enforcing it.
Utah business leaders and policy makers will also be on hand and learn some of the possible economic ramifications that will stem from the law and what it could mean for Utah, should a comparable law be enforced.
The meeting will occur at the University of Utah’s Hinckley Institute of Politics and is open to the public.
The discussion is expected to ensue throughout the remainder of the work week and will feature everyone from tourism and restaurant officials to business leaders and members of chambers of commerce throughout the state.
