LANSING, Mich. (AP) — A Michigan doctor faces at least a 25 years in prison when he’s sentenced today for molesting Olympic gymnasts and other young female athletes who had gone to him for help with their sports injuries. Larry Nassar pleaded guilty to assaulting seven people, but more than 150 accusers have spoken out in court during Nassar’s sentencing hearing. He’s already been sentenced to 60 years in federal prison for child pornography crimes.

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Stephen Curry scored 17 of his 32 points in the third quarter to go with seven assists and six rebounds, and the Golden State Warriors used a big second half to beat the New York Knicks 123-112. Kevin Durant added 14 points, a career-high 14 assists and two blocks before his ejection with 2:50 left for a second technical. LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kyle Kuzma scored 17 of his 28 points in a phenomenal fourth quarter, and the surging Los Angeles Lakers sent the Boston Celtics to their fourth consecutive loss, 108-107. Los Angeles nearly gave it away by missing four free throws in the final 20 seconds, but Marcus Smart missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer for the Eastern Conference-leading Celtics. Kyrie Irving scored 33 points for the Celtics, who opened a four-game road trip by extending their longest losing streak in nearly two years.

DALLAS (AP) — Alexander Radulov had two goals and an assist to lead the Dallas Stars to a 6-1 victory over the Florida Panthers in a penalty-filled game. Devin Shore had a goal and an assist, and Jamie Benn, Mattias Janmark and Tykler Pitlick also scored for Dallas, which improved to 4-0-1 in its last five games. Ben Bishop finished with 33 saves.

MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) — Top-seeded Simona Halep recovered from an early service break and won nine straight games en route to a 6-3, 6-2 victory over No. 6-seeded Karolina Pliskova to reach the Australian Open semifinals for the first time. Halep, playing as the No. 1 seed for the first time in a Grand Slam tournament and seeking her first major title, will face 2016 champion Angelique Kerber in the last four.
