Rainiers Rally To Avoid Sweep; Owlz Rip Raptors

(Tacoma, WA) — The Rainiers scored three times in the final two innings to rally for a 3-2 win over the Salt Lake Bees in the finale of a four-game set in Tacoma. The Bees are now tied with El Paso for first place in the PCL Pacific Southern. The Bees open a four-game, season-ending home series with the Fresno Grizzlies tonight.

The Owlz ripped the Ogden Raptors, 11-5, last night in Ogden. Brandon Marsh went 3-for-4 with a run and three RBI for Orem, which improved to 44-and-22. Rylan Bannon was 3-for-4 with a homer and two runs for Ogden, which dropped to 42-and-25. The four-game, home-and-home series shifts to Ogden tonight.
