SALT LAKE CITY (AP)-Tanner Gonder found the net twice while Sam Clark and Tate Abbott also scored as the Delta Rabbits edged Intermountain Christian 4-3 Wednesday in the first round of the 2-A boys soccer playoffs. Delta next faces South Summit Saturday at 1:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.
KAMAS, Utah (AP)-Thomas Kirkham scored a pair of goals and the South Summit Wildcats downed Gunnison 4-1 in the first round of the 2-A boys soccer playoffs Wednesday.
MANTI, Utah (AP)-Daniel Frutos scored twice and the Manti Templars doubled up Rowland Hall 2-1 Wednesday in the first round of the 2-A boys soccer playoffs. Manti next hosts American Leadership Academy Saturday at 1:00 pm in the 2-A quarterfinals.
FILLMORE, Utah (AP)-Jovani Trejo posted a hat trick and the Millard Eagles blasted St. Joseph 7-1 in the first round of the 2-A boys soccer playoffs Wednesday. Millard hosts Summit Academy Saturday in the 2-A quarterfinals at 1:00 pm. Aaron Trejo, Alex Wall, Carson Fox and Ramon Candia also scored in the win for the Eagles.

KAMAS, Utah (AP)-Sammi Rogers went yard and Hannah Peterson took the win in the circle as the South Summit Wildcats clobbered Delta 11-0 Wednesday in 2-A Central softball action.
SALINA, Utah (AP)-Kosha Reidhead took the win in the circle and Kanab outlasted North Sevier 6-5 in non-region softball action Wednesday.
BEAVER, Utah (AP)-McKenna Rowell belted a grand slam and the Millard Eagles got past Beaver 6-4 Wednesday in non-region softball action.

CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP)-Drake Lewis and Ben Hulet each had a pair of doubles and the Cedar Redmen hammered Delta 23-2 in non-region baseball action Wednesday.
