SAN BRUNO, Calif.-Monday, BYU junior forward Yoeli Childs was awarded his second West Coast Conference player of the week honor of the season.
In a 79-56 win over Portland and an 80-74 victory over Santa Clara, Childs averaged 27.5 points, 9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1 steal a game for the Cougars.
Additionally, he shot 60 percent from the field, 55.6 percent behind the arc and 82.4 percent at the foul line.
This is the third West Coast Conference player of the week award for Childs in his stellar collegiate career.
