Weber State’s Jerrick Harding Earns Third Big Sky Player of the Week Honor Of Season

OGDEN, Utah-Weber State junior guard Jerrick Harding was awarded his third Big Sky Conference Player of the Week honor Tuesday for his heroics for the Wildcats last week.

In Weber State’s wins over Idaho State (76-59) and Northern Colorado (78-64) last week, the star guard out of Wichita, Kan. averaged 22 points, shot 53 percent from the field and shot 10-10 at the foul line. He also averaged 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals for the Wildcats.

Presently, Harding is second in the Big Sky and 22nd nationally by scoring 21.3 points per game.

Harding also leads the Big Sky by shooting 87.2 percent from the foul line and ranks second in the conference with 1.8 steals per game.

The 12-6 (6-1) Wildcats are currently in first place in the Big Sky and are at the Montana schools this week. They will be at Montana State Thursday and Montana Saturday.
