Weber State Men’s Basketball Hosts Bethesda In Home Opener Friday

OGDEN, Utah-Friday, Weber State men’s basketball commences its home season by hosting Bethesda of Anaheim, Calif.

The Flames represent the National Christian College Association and are 0-4 to start the season.

The 0-1 Wildcats suffered an 83-66 loss at San Diego Tuesday and were led by Cody John, a junior who starred at Wasatch Academy, who posted 22 points.

The Wildcats hope to have the services of returning leading scorer Jerrick Harding, a junior guard out of Wichita, Kan. who missed the game against the Toreros with a sprained ankle.

This is the first meeting between the Wildcats and the Flames.

Weber State is 50-6 (.893) in season openers as a Division I school.
