Weber State Football Travels To Cal Poly Saturday

OGDEN, Utah-Saturday, Weber State football is back in action on the road at Cal Poly in a non-conference game for both squads, despite both being members of the Big Sky Conference.

The Wildcats, who are the #10 team in the latest STATS FCS poll released Monday, are coming off a loss to FBS Utah, 41-10 August 30.

Despite the defeat, the Wildcats forced four turnovers against the Utes and did not turn the ball over themselves.

The Cal Poly Mustangs come into their home opener after being pounded 49-3 by top-ranked FCS squad North Dakota State.

This is the 14th all-time meeting in this series which dates back to 1995. In this game, at Stewart Stadium, Weber State outgunned Cal Poly 55-45 September 23, 1995.

The Wildcats have also won the last two games in this series.
