Wasatch Academy Star To Compete in Canadian All-Star Game

TORONTO (TSN.CA)-Per an official report from Canadian sports network TSN, Wasatch Academy’s Tyrese Samuel has been chosen to compete in the 4th annual Biosteel All Canadian High School basketball game.

This game is open to the top 24 male athletes (born 1999 or later) who are either Canadian nationals (Canadian-born) or enrolled in a Canadian institution.

Samuel, a native of La Salle, Quebec, is 6’8″ and ranging from 210-215 pounds per various reports, and reportedly has interest in continuing his basketball career at Syracuse, because he’s always tried to pattern his game after former Orange star Carmelo Anthony.

In 18 games for the Tigers this season, Samuel averaged 12 points and 3.61 rebounds per game as Wasatch Academy went 24-2 on the season.

The game is slated for Monday April 9 and will be broadcast on TSN (Canada’s version of ESPN).
