OREM, Utah-Late Tuesday, 24th year Utah Valley University women’s basketball head coach Cathy Nixon released the 2018-19 schedule for the Wolverines.
The Wolverines’ season commences with a November 6 home game against the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos of the Big West conference to commemorate Education Day across Division I athletics.
This Education Day will result in elementary schools students and their teachers being in attendance for the game.
In December, the Wolverines will have road games at Southern Utah (December 4), Idaho State (December 6) and Utah State (December 15).
The Wolverines will host another Education Day game against in-state foe Weber State December 18.
The WAC season opener for UVU is January 3 as they host Grand Canyon. The regular season closes March 9 at Cal State Bakersfield. Senior Day for the Wolverines is March 2 against WAC and Division I newcomer Cal Baptist.
The WAC tournament will be at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas March 13-16. The Wolverines have advanced to the conference tournament semifinals two of the past three seasons.
