Utah Men’s Basketball Visits USC Wednesday

SALT LAKE CITY-Wednesday, Utah men’s basketball visits Los Angeles to battle USC in hopes of snapping a 2-game losing streak.

The Utes are 11-10 (5-4 in conference play) and coming off successive home losses to Oregon and Oregon State.

Utah, however, has won two consecutive road games, having swept California and Stanford on their last trip away from the Huntsman Center.

The Utes currently score 75 points per game, surrendering 73.4 points per contest.

Senior guard Sedrick Barefield (16.3 points per game) is the Utes’ leading scorer on the season while freshman guard Timmy Allen (11.4 points, 5 rebounds per game) continues to see his star rise.

Sophomore forward Donnie Tillman (10.9 points, 5.6 rebounds) continues to serve as the Utes’ overall statistical leader.

The Trojans come into this one at 13-9 and 6-3 in Pac-12 play.

USC scores 77.6 points per game and surrenders 73 points per contest.

Senior forward Bennie Boatwright (17.3 points, 6.4 rebounds per game) and junior forward Nick Rakocevic (16.2 points, 9.9 rebounds per game) provide a pair of studs for the Trojans.

The Utes lead the all-time series against the Trojans 22-19 despite the fact USC swept Utah last season.
