Utah Men’s Basketball and Nevada To Meet For Home-and-Home Series

SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, Utah men’s basketball announced it has agreed to a home-and-home series with rising western men’s basketball power Nevada.

The Utes and Wolf Pack will commence this series December 29 at the Huntsman Center at which point, the Utes will give Nevada a return game at Reno, Nev. the following year. The date for this game has not yet been determined.

This decision by Utes’ head coach Larry Krystkowiak to start this series should prove to be a wise one as the Wolf Pack boasts three potential 2019 NBA Draft first-round selections in guard/forward Jordan Caroline and forwards Cody and Caleb Martin.

Presently, the Utes will be facing two top 10 preseason teams as they face the #1 team in the preseason polls, Kentucky, and the Wolf Pack, who are #6 in the ESPN and CBSSports.com polls.

This marks only the 11th meeting all-time between the Utes and Wolf Pack and the first since 1987.
