BREMERTON, Wash.-Friday, Utah State’s men’s golf team competed at the Mountain West championships, placing 10th out of 11 squads competing at the Olympic Course at Gold Mountain Golf Club.

The highest-placing Aggies were Braxton Miller, Colten Cordingley and Chase Lansford, each of whom placed 24th at -74 (+2).

Through the first day of competition, Colorado State, UNLV and San Diego State are all tied for first place at -284 (-4).

AJ Ott of Colorado State is individually in first place at -66 (-6).

The tournament continues Saturday.

BOULDER CITY, Nev.-Friday, the Big Sky Conference women’s golf championships commenced at the Boulder Creek Golf Club with Southern Utah and Weber State participating.

Through Day 1 of competition, Idaho and Portland State are tied for the lead at +8 .

The highest achieving Weber State Wildcat at the tournament thus far is Kirsten Convoy who is in 7th place on Par 3 while Southern Utah’s highest achievier thus far is Kamonwan Prasurtwong, who is currenty in 7th place on Par 5.

Sacramento State is the current team leader in pars with 55 while Montana has a tournament-best 14 birdies thus far.

Portland State and Sacramento State have the current lead on Par 3, tied at +4. On Par 4, Idaho has the lead at +11 and Eastern Washington leads on Par 5 at -3.
