OGDEN, Utah-Tuesday, Southern Utah University women’s cross country runner Angie Nickerson was named as the Big Sky Conference women’s cross country athlete of the week for a key win Saturday at UC Riverside.
Nickerson was the Thunderbirds’ leading runner in the women’s 6-K at Riverside, Calif., running a time of 20:00.60.
This is the first award of the season won by either the Thunderbirds’ men’s or women’s cross country squads.
