SUU Men’s Basketball To Face Northern Colorado For Senior Day Thursday

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Thursday, Southern Utah men’s basketball (14-14, 9-10 in Big Sk play) faces Northern Colorado (20-9, 14-4 in Big Sky play) for Senior Night at the America First Event Center.

The Thunderbirds will honor guard Brandon Better, guard Matthew Johnson and guard/forward Elijah Graves as part of their festivities.

The mercurial Thunderbirds score 76.3 points per game and surrender 76.1 points per contest.

The Thunderbirds have outscored opponents 2135-2132 on the season.

Redshirt junior guard/forward Cameron Oluyitan (12.9 points per game), Better (12.3 points per game) and junior forward Andre Adams (10.3 points, 6.2 rebounds per game) lead the Thunderbirds statistically on the season.

The highly-productive Bears come into Cedar City scoring 77.2 points per game and surrendering 69.1 points per contest.

Senior guard Jordan Davis, who posted 36 points on 14-17 shooting for the Bears in a 79-68 win over SUU January 24, averages a conference-best 23.7 points per game.

Guard Bodie Hume (10.8 points, 4.3 rebounds per game) and redshirt junior guard Jonah Radebaugh (10 points, 6 rebounds per game) also score in double figures for Northern Colorado.

The Bears lead the all-time series against the Thunderbirds 4-1.
