Boys Soccer

Region 14

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Joe Valle scored twice as the American Leadership Eagles blanked Juab 5-0 in Region 14 boys soccer action Thursday.

Region 15

MOAB, Utah-Ernesto Durant, Gavin Bushnell and Trace Bogness each scored as the Manti Templars downed Grand 3-1 Thursday in Region 15 boys soccer action.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Kordell Morgan, Ry Hosmer and Sam Kemp all scored and the Richfield Wildcats blanked South Sevier 3-0 in Region 15 boys soccer action Thursday. Cameron Terry posted the shutout for the Wildcats.

Region 17

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Hai Trin amassed a hat trick and the Wasatch Academy Tigers routed Telos 8-0 Thursday in Region 17 boys soccer action. Avery Wade, Ben Cottam, Duvy Long and Lucas Roth also scored in the win for the Tigers.

Region 18

FILLMORE, Utah-Jesus Magana’s hat trick led the way as the Beaver Beavers stymied Millard 5-2 in Region 18 boys soccer action Thursday. Daniel Magana added two more goals for the Beavers in victory. Alex Wall and Wyatt Alcala both scored in the loss for the Eagles.

GUNNISON, Utah-Brayan Ruiz posted a hat trick and the Gunnison Bulldogs outlasted Diamond Ranch 3-2 Thursday in Region 18 boys soccer action.

Softball

2-A Central

GUNNISON, Utah-Emily Brackett’s three doubles were instrumental in Gunnison’s 15-3 rout of Piute in 2-A Central softball action Thursday. The Bulldogs posted 15 hits in the victory.

Non-Region

PRICE, Utah-Cali Fossat went yard and the Carbon Dinos smacked North Sevier 12-2 Thursday in non-region softball action.

Girls Golf

Region 15

EMERY COUNTY, Utah-Richfield won the Region 15 girls golf tournament Thursday by 43 strokes with a team score of 197. Grand finished second with a 240, followed by Manti and Emery, which both shot a 243. San Juan placed fifth with a 250, South Sevier took sixth with a 270 an North Sanpete finished seventh with a 298.

Individually Hayden Harris continued her Region 15 dominance for the Wildcats with a first place finish score of 45. Richfield’s Ellie Hair took second with a 47, followed by Grand’s Joopy Bamrungmuang’s 50 then Emery’s Lainee Jensen placed fourth with a 51. Maddie Miller of Richfield placed fifth with a 52.
