Jager Springer added 15 points and 8 rebounds on 6-10 shooting for the Rabbits, who shot 50 percent from the field. Delta used a 41-16 second half surge to put the Beavers away for their first win of the season. Preston Roberts netted 7 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for the Beavers.

PAROWAN, Utah-Porter Wood’s 31 points led the way as the Parowan Rams downed Bryce Valley 59-50 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. Treyson Roberts led the Mustangs in the loss with 14 points.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Mike Saunders’ 24 points paced Wasatch Academy in an 85-67 win over the East Leopards Wednesday in non-region boys basketball action. Tristan Enaruna added 17 more points in the win for the Tigers.

BICKNELL, Utah-B. Hill posted 23 points, including seven three-pointers and the Gunnison Bulldogs downed Wayne 71-65 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. Garrett Chappell’s 16 points led the Badgers in defeat.

PANGUITCH, Utah-Acey Orton amassed 25 points and the Panguitch Bobcats edged Kanab 48-47 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball action. Nathaniel Houston and Tyler Clark had 12 points apiece in the loss to pace the Cowboys.

MONROE, Utah-Brandt Williams filled up the stat sheet with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists as the South Sevier Rams overpowered North Sevier 76-59 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball action. Burke Mickelsen’s 21 points led the Wolves in defeat.
