PROVO, Utah-By virtue of an upset of then-#6 Wisconsin, 24-21 at Camp Randall Stadium of Madison, Wis. Saturday, Sunday was a happy day for the BYU Cougars’ football team.
The Cougars entered The Associated Press Top 25 rankings for the first time since 2015, checking in at #25.
BYU was ranked #19 in September 2015 after vanquishing Nebraska and #20 Boise State to start that season.
The 2-1 Cougars are next in action Saturday as they host the FCS McNeese State Cowboys of Lake Charles, La. and the Southland Conference at 4:00 p.m.
