LOGAN, Utah-Wednesday, Utah State football coach Gary Andersen named Bojay Filimoeatu as his new outside linebackers coach.
Filimoeatu starred at Utah State as a two-year starting linebacker (2011-12) under Andersen and netted 112 tackles, eight sacks and one interception during his playing career at Utah State.
Filimoeatu played for the Oakland Raiders in 2014, appearing in eight games.
Filimoeatu has spent the past two seasons as the linebackers coach at San Jose State.
He also has experience as the quality control/linebackers coach at Oregon State in 2016.
