OGDEN, Utah-Tuesday, the Big Sky Conference announced its six-day schedule for its men’s and women’s basketball tournaments March 11-16 at CenturyLink Arena of Boise, Idaho.
The women’s tournament will run from March 11-13 and 15 while the men’s tournament runs from March 13-16.
The tournament champions will receive automatic berths to the respective NCAA tournaments.
For the fourth consecutive season, all Big Sky conference schools will compete in the conference tournaments.
The top five teams in the regular season standings will earn an automatic bye into the quarterfinals.
The conference tournaments will be in Idaho for the first time since 1994 when Boise State, then a Big Sky Conference member, hosted the league tournament.
On Monday March 11, the women’s tournament begins with three first-round games followed by four quarterfinals matchups on Tuesday for the women.
Wednesday, the action becomes coed as five games on March 13 consist of the women’s semifinals in the evening preceded by the first wave of action for the men.
Thursday March 14 will consist of men’s games entirely while on Friday March 15, the women’s championship game occurs.
Saturday’s action consists of the men’s championship game which will air on the ESPN Family of Networks.
