1-A/2-A All-Stars Rout 3-A All-Stars

EPHRAIM, Utah-Friday, the 1-A and 2-A All-Stars met the 3-A All-Stars and the little guys showed their mettle, routing their larger counterparts 48-7 at Stoddard Field at Badger Stadium on the campus of Snow College.

Gunnison signal-caller Kris Edwards completed 7 of 13 for 104 yards, 2 TD’s and and interception while Beaver’s Tyce Raddon ran for a 7-yard touchdown and his teammate, Walter LeBaron returned a fumble 25 yards for another score.

It was only a 14-7 1-A/2-A All-stars lead at the half  but they exploded for 34 2nd half points en route to the easy victory.

The 3-A All-Stars were also hurt by the absence of Juan Diego and Summit Academy players who appeared on the roster but were nowhere to be found just hours before kickoff.

Juab’s Mcray Stevens was solid in the loss for the 3-A All-Stars, netting an interception.
