(Salt Lake City, UT) – State transportation officials are worried they will run out of money for snow removal. The state Department of Transportation is only five days into January and has already spent its snow budget for the month. UDOT says it has spent over 40-percent of its money, which is supposed to last until April. Salt Lake City is in even worse shape, having already spent 80-percent of the money set aside to buy salt this winter.Â
