Utah distillery to sell breath analyzers ahead of DUI limit

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A Park City distillery is helping would-be whiskey tasters have peace of mind by offering keychain breath analyzers for purchase in the wake of the state’s lower drunken-driving limit.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports that Alpine Distilling is offering breath analyzer key chains for $30 along with their single-malt whiskeys.
The offering comes after Gov. Gary Herbert last week lowered the blood alcohol limit to be legally drunk while driving from 0.08 to 0.05.
The new law takes effect Dec. 30, 2018.
