Two kids sent to hospital after OHV vs. truck crash in Sevier County

Two kids are recovering from being hit by a truck while driving an OHV near Central Valley on Thursday.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a 13-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl were crossing SR 118 into Central Valley when they were hit by a pick-up traveling North.

Authorities are investigating if the kids failed to yield while crossing the highway.

According to the Highway Patrol, the kids were really lucky to survive. The boy had injuries to his abdomen and the girl had injuries to her head. Both were wearing seat belts, but not helmets.
