Provo man faces theft charges; 14th time since 2011

PROVO, Utah (AP) — A 41-year-old Provo man who has been arrested on theft charges more than a dozen times before is back in jail accused of stealing $2,500 worth of equipment from a boat shop in Lindon.

The (Provo) Daily Herald reports Lindon police arrested Kenneth Jarvis Tuesday for suspicion of theft and criminal mischief.

He’s accused of damaging a fence and removing speakers and a metal tower from a boat when he allegedly stole the equipment from a boat shop in 2015.

It’s not clear if Jarvis has a lawyer or will be appointed one at a pending court appearance.

A police report says it marks the 14th time since 2011 that he’s been arrested on theft-related charges.
