(Salt Lake City, UT) – A four-year-old program that helps pair service dogs with veterans is expanding to Salt Lake County. “4 Paws 4 Patriots” takes local shelter dogs and trains them to be of help to veterans suffering from PTSD and other issues. The program also provides service dogs to first responders who may need help coping with the stress of their jobs. Dogs are provided free of charge to those who qualify.Â
