Fishlake National Forest plans to burns several hundred acres of forest on Wednesday.
The Richfield Ranger District plans to burn approximately 62 acres of scattered pinyon/juniper slash Southeast of Salina. Another 82 acres of pinyon/juniper piles West of Koosharem.
The Fremont River Ranger District plans to burn approximately 50-170 acres of slash piles along the Great Western Trail System to reduce hazardous fuels. This project is located on the North slope of Boulder Mountain in Wayne County.
