The U.S. Forest Service is battling a new fire East of Mona and on the West side of the Mt. Nebo Wilderness.
The Pack Fire was reported Tuesday. It’s suspected the cause is lightning.
The fire is only estimated to be two to fire acres.
The Spanish Fork Ranger District is sending crews for a full suppression strategy. Balt Mountain Fire resources are also being sent for support.
