(Logan, UT) – Police in Logan are issuing a warning about a sex-related Internet blackmail scam. Investigators say they’ve had two cases this week in which a victim was talked into sending explicit pictures and video during an online chat. The scammer then threatens to expose the victim to family and friends unless they send money. Police have logged a dozen cases in the last year, with victims paying thousands of dollars to keep the pictures secret.Â
