Consumer Confidence Hits Record High

(Salt Lake City, UT)  –  Consumers have never been more confident in Utah’s economic outlook.  A new Zions Bank Utah Consumer Attitude Index is up nearly nine points to 123-and-a-half in March.  The “Desert News” reports the high number in the survey is largely due to increased expectations for the state’s economy through the fall.  Utah’s unemployment rate also remains just above three-percent, well below the national rate. Â
