(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah Division of Air Quality has issued its first mandatory action alert of the summer season to try to control dangerous ozone levels. Officials are urging people in counties along the Wasatch Front to refrain from driving when possible. People with sensitive respiratory conditions are advised to limit outdoor exertion. Many areas in Utah have been found out of compliance with federal ozone pollution standards revised in 2015.
