(Springdale, UT) — Rangers are warning hikers to steer clear of a couple of trails in Zion National Park due to mud and rock slides. Recent storms caused the mudslides which still cover portions of the Lower Emerald and Sand Beach trails. Park officials advise visitors that poor weather conditions are expected to prevail until next week making it too dangerous for crews to begin the clean up process until then.
