2 arrested over repeated bomb threats at Ogden courthouse

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Two people have been arrested in connection with bomb threats that forced the evacuation of a northern Utah courthouse three times in three weeks.

Ogden police announced Friday that Tonisha Lester and Jerry Larkin were arrested and booked into Weber County Jail on charges related to the threats.

The Standard-Examiner reports that both Lester and Larkin are 44 years-old and facing multiple offenses.

It was unknown if they had attorneys.

The Ogden courthouse has been evacuated three times over the last three weeks due to bomb threats that were received during the day.

Each time, police investigated the threats but concluded that they were without merits.

The courthouse reopened for business either several hours later or the next day.
