Rick Morgan: Whether it's Brain Aerobics, Loser of the Day or Stranger Than Michael Jackson, Rick's slightly tilted view of what's going on keeps listeners informed and entertained. His background includes morning radio stints in Miami, Orlando & Tampa. Before joining the KCYQ, Rick was the afternoon drive host for legendary KHOW in Denver. Rick's show can be heard weekdays on KCYQ 97.7 FM from 5am to 9am.
Kathy Farnsworth: Kathy was born and raised in Delta, UT and became involved in broadcasting at Snow College in the 1970’s. Radio quickly became a passion and Kathy worked at many radio stations and in numerous markets throughout Utah. She has also lived and worked in Idaho, Michigan, California, Oregon and Washington. In 1991, Kathy became News Director for KOTI-TV in Klamath Falls, OR and spent the next several years working in television before returning to her “roots” as an on air personality. Besides news, she has been heavily involved with promotions, production, sales and currently is the Operations Manager and Morning Show Host for Mid Utah Radio’s Richfield stations. Kathy loves the outdoors, playing golf, attending sporting events, “Go Badgers”, and loves spending time with her family, friends and best friend Frankie. Kathy can be heard on KCYQ 97.7 FM weekdays from 7am to 8am.
Bruce Mayhew: Bruce was born in Raymond Alberta, Canada and left there when he was 7 years old to move to Provo, Utah, with his family. He grew up in Provo and graduated from Provo High School and then earned a BA degree from BYU. Bruce began his radio career at KMTI AM 650 in 1978 as on air personality, and has experience in sales, news, and sports. He currently works as news director at KSVC where he enjoys his work. In his spare time, Bruce loves to sing in barber shop quartets and spending time with his wife and two kids. Bruce can be heard on KCYQ 97.7 FM in the mornings between 7am and 8am.
Adrienne Brooks: Adrienne returned to Los Angeles after doing mornings on country station KAJA-FM/San Antonio. While in Los Angeles, she worked as morning show producer at KZLA-FM, co-host of the morning show on KLAC, weather reporter on KNX-AM, production assistant for KTLA-TV, and part-time for K-LITE FM. Adrienne can be heard weekdays from 9am to 2pm.
Tad Svendsen: Tad has been broadcasting since he was in high school, starting out in Sioux Falls, S.D. at a country station, of course! Tad has worked at for 16 years at KYGO FM in Denver before joining Mainstream Country. His daily "Big Burning Question" keeps the phones hopping on his afternoon show. Tad's show can be heard on KCYQ 97.7 FM weekdays from 2pm to 7pm.
Penny Mitchell: Penny has spent the past quarter century in country radio. She really enjoys getting listeners involved on the air...but never at the expense of the music. She loves interviewing country artists and has been blessed to talk with some of the biggest. Penny's show can be heard weekdays from 7pm to 11pm on KCYQ 97.7 FM.
Don Bishop: Don is a 30‑year radio and network veteran. Prior to KCYQ, Don spent three years working with the then‑fledgling Satellite Music Network in a variety of programming and on‑air capacities. Don has worked at top stations in major markets across the nation, including WCLR‑FM, Chicago; WRQX‑FM, Washington; KIQQ‑FM, Los Angeles; and KNUS‑FM, Dallas. Don also is a successful writer & producer and has hosted many nationally syndicated country radio shows. Don’s show can be heard on KCYQ 97.7 FM weekdays from 11pm to 5am.
Gary Campbell: Gary came from country station KZLA-FM in Los Angeles where he did evenings for 10 years. He's also been on-air at KHTZ, KDUO and KCAL in the LA area. Gary also does news and traffic reporting for Southern California radio stations and is currently working part-time at KSON-FM/San Diego. Gary writes and produces the nationally syndicated country feature "Back Stage Country". Gary can be heard filling in on the weekends.
Larry Shipley: Larry has an on‑air rapport with his listeners that just can't be beat, and is a true character on the air. In addition to many years in radio, Larry has done syndicated television work including play‑by‑play sports and a wrestling show for ESPN. Larry loves to get involved in promotional activities and contests and if he could, he might just give away the station license! Catch Larry filling in on the weekends.
Tommy Jaxson: Tommy was most recently heard on KBIG and KXEZ in Los Angeles. He's also been on-air at AC stations KYSR and KOST and did mornings for awhile at LA's high-rated Power 106. Tommy's radio career has taken him to Dallas at KLUV and KKDA, plus KRLY/Houston. Tommy has voiced local and national commercials, and he is currently working full-time doing news & traffic on KNX-AM/Los Angeles. Tommy can be heard filling in on the weekends.
Bob Kingsley: Bob puts years of experience and immeasurable talent to work as the host of his entertaining and very successful weekly and daily programs. The road to success for Bob Kingsley began when, stationed in Keflavic, Iceland with the US Air Force, he auditioned for an announcer spot on Armed Forces Radio Station TFK. Tom Rounds at Watermark selected Kingsley to produce the up and coming radio program, American Country Countdown. The show airs on Sundays from 6pm to 10pm on KCYQ 97.7 FM. Fred Ball: Fred has been "the voice of business" on Utah radio for almost 20 years. He joined Zions Bank after retiring from a successful business career, first as an executive with a national trucking firm and later as president of the Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce, a position he held for 25 years. Fred has been named Small Business Journalist of the Year by the Small Business Administration. His show "Speaking on Business" airs twice a day, Monday through Friday at 7:40am on KCYQ 97.7 FM.
